PAHud Aggression Frequency...

At the advice of Boobie Lover, I've changed my PAHud display to show this number instead of PT's number. The problem is... I have no idea what it means. I can take a guess, but if someone would like to explain it or has an exact formula for how it is calculated, that would be great.

More importantly, what ranges are you looking for when you look at this number?

Percentage of actions that are aggresive. More vague than you wanted?

The percentage of the time that a player makes an aggressive move (betting or raising).

I usually think of the numbers like this:

0-30 - passive
30-45 - semi-aggressive
45-60 - aggressive
60+ maniacal

Yes... I knew (well, assumed) that's what it was, but I'm not familiar with ranges yet and was hoping someone would. ie, ultra aggressive > x, ultra passive < y, etc.

Cool, thanks (it took me forever to make that last post).

I assume it's not an even distribution among players... probably more like a 15/40/35/10 split?

I just looked it up earlier on the forums, equation is: (Raise+bet)/(call+fold)

Talking Poker 10-12-06 02:30 AM

Is that really it? If so, it would be possible to have a number over 100...

I assumed it was (Raise+Bet)/(Raise+Bet+Call+Fold).

Thanks... I'm not sure yet how useful this stat is going to be to me...
