Pokerstars Traffic

They have to be making a ton with there billionth hand celebration. Every room fills up before they hit another milestone. The rake they make off these rooms must more than pay for the money that they are giving away. I was playing in five rooms myself and every other low limit room looked to be filled.

Do they show you how many people are on?

Windbreaker 12-20-04 08:47 PM

Hitting the correct hands must be a one in 10,000 shot on a normal 10 player ring table. Maybe if you go heads up really fast on ten tables you might be able to increase your chances to get it

BlazyBlah 12-20-04 08:58 PM

I see it range between 6000 and just under 30000

jillaj 12-20-04 09:38 PM

I don't think head up counts. Since you only have to be dealt into the hand I would play as many low limit tables as pokerstars allows. I played 5 last time and only wasted like 30 cents. I will try to do more this time.

BINGO!!!!
Damn, I only needed one more number for that coverall jackpot, damn :D

BingoStars has a nice ring to it. I was considering going for it myself until I realized I would have to wait through a 20 person deep waiting list to get a seat. It is funny to watch the tables fill up right before and then drop off to nothing 10 seconds after each number hits.

Windbreaker 12-22-04 02:53 AM

ya, it's crazy right before one of those special hand numbers. Once it passes everyone leaves like an emergency. Some people aren't very smart though....once it gets close to that number, they should all play a bit faster in hopes of catching it at the right time instead of stalling and taking their sweet time to make an easy call/fold.

jillaj 12-22-04 11:06 AM

This was pissing me off the other day. Seemed like every room i was in people were taking the full 15 seconds to post blinds.

BlackCoffee 12-23-04 03:03 PM

Seems people who try too hard and get pissed off wont get it.
Last night.. for hand 989000000.. the table that won didnt even realize it.
6 folded before the flop and they didnt know until the operator told them.

Talk about lucky :)
