Daniel N's spiritual crisis

And in other news, Mr. Negreanu is apparently on life tilt.

I have to say that I've been lonely, and it's not just a case of missing my home, my wife, and my little dog Mushu. I feel like in many ways that my personal relationship with God has faded and it kills me to admit that.

This affects my poker mind, but frankly, I could care less about any of that. I'm more concerned with the person I've become recently, and I don't like that guy one bit. I'm often irritated, jealous, venomous, spiteful, arrogant, mean, insecure, and all around unhappy.

The first step in becoming the person you want to be is recognizing that you don't like the person you are. It takes a pretty big man to say what Daniel wrote. Hopefully he'll pull through this and get back on track.

That's my single biggest grammatical pet peeve. Drives me crazy EVERY time.

Yeah, ranks right up there with my other pet peeve... people who say or write, "irregardless."

I must say that DN certainly gives the appearance of someone that is happy with their life when you see him on TV. Maybe it's all those big losses on HSP that have him down.
