Poker Thoughts on New Years

Well, now that I'm half in the bag, I was just thinking what a fantastic night it would have been to actually stay sober and make a killing online. If there was a game to be found, chances are 99% of the players online will be piss drunk tonight.

Anyhow, this may also work tomorrow, while people are nursing their hangovers. I'm notorious for rarely if ever getting a hangover, so perhaps I can still make this happen tomorrow.

Edited to fix typos even though I am drunk lol :D .

Hey TP, I'm making a run for a 1000 tonight :p .

Happy New Years all, drive safely or don't drive at all.

Well, since I'm only about 30% drunk, with a wife and kids, and at home just minutes before 2005, I'll do it for you!!! :D

Good luck in 05 everyone.

Anyone get good results?

ChipFish 01-01-05 11:15 PM

Had some friends over for New Years Eve...
So when they left around 5:30am what do I decide to do?

Play poker....
Not such a great idea after a bottle of Jack.

Played for an hour...
Immediately lost 250$....
Oh jeeze I think, I'd better quit until I sober up....
Nahh I say, I'll play until I'm even.
Thank God for PartyPoker.
It could have been a bad start to the new year.
2005 total winnings to date. +$0.25 :o

Lesson learned.
Don't play while hammered. :o

I had pretty much the same results as ChipFish, except I didn't bother to get out of the hole. Lost about 35BB in 35 minutes after I posted.
