I just checked and I have 13,094 HH files (that's FILES - not HHs) dating back to late 2005. Many of those are from tourneys and datamining, I'm sure (stuff I don't so much care about), but that should also cover MOST of my play from at least 2006 forward.
Of course, tons of those are going to be from unsupported sites or an old format of the HH that may not be supported any longer... who knows. I would think this would be a pretty big issue for him though, so he should try to be as accomodating with this as possible.
I also don't understand how he can't put together an export that runs through our PT HH tables, pulling the data back out into Format X which he could then use as input into his program. I mean, all the info is there. You know how you can "Replay" a hand in PT and see the HH? That's all that would need to be done - but for ALL of the hands in your database.
Yes, it would take ages, but it should be doable.
