the thing is, the college game is very different from the pro game, and skills dont necessarily translate from one level to the next. you can be a great college player, and then really struggle in the nba (laettner is the prime example of this, but there are plenty of others).
hinrich and duhon are good examples of this. they might turn out to be great nba players, but i am skeptical. they are highly rated because there are a number of people that like to rant and rave about four year players, but the fact is, they would have come out early if they were perceived to be good enough players to do so.
