No matter how mean these guys are, no matter how pissed off they might get, I doubt you'll see a player do something that would clearly lead to the immediate end of his own career.

To continue, though. The last tiebreaker in determining home field advantage is total point differential. The Redskins game was 24-0 at the half. You can't honestly suggest sitting Brady after only a half. That's stupid for 2 reasons

1) 24-0 is not insurmountable in the NFL
2) The last thing you want to do is get your starters used to playing less than a full game.

The Pats took the opening kickoff of the 2nd half and ran 8 minutes off the clock scoring their next TD. They scored 3 TDs after that. One was a short field after a strip sack, and another was by Cassell, who after being pulled after one series and a pick-6 the week before, came in with something to prove. Are players supposed to stop playing hard because they have a big lead?
