Default coolest idea in a long time,
they do this at a couple of big soccer clubs in Spain (Barcelona, Real Madrid) but I didn't know they were bringing the idea to the US. Basically, you can join to become a member (some kind of nominal fee) and all season ticket holders are members automatically, and every 4 years all the members (fans) vote to keep the general manager or fire the GM. The Seattle Sounders, an MLS expansion team, is adopting that model. Read about it .
