I have been screwing around with small stakes PLO for a little over a year, so I am not claiming to be any type of reference. And I am sure that the games you are playing are different than the levels I play, but I don't think PLO is like NLHE two years ago or anything like that. I think it is more akin to LHE, which still is incredibly soft. Both LHE and PLO are swingy as hell and basically crack cocaine for all except those with good tilt control, they both are all about grinding smaller edges than in NLHE and pushing smaller equity advantages. It is just that PLO is a game you play for stacks as so it may take more hands (100Ks) to run to the norm.

edit to add-although PLO is great for tilting a good player and then profiting make Sklansky $$.
