It's ceratinly a tough beat, no doubt. But to me, a "bad beat" is a hand where you play it OK-perfectly, your opponent plays terribly, but hits (at a minimum) a 15:1 shot to beat you. In other words, a situation where you played it right and the pot should be yours better than 95% of the time.

In this hand, you played sub-optimally (preflop), he played it fine, you were a 3:1 dog going to the river and lost. I'm also not completely convinced that you would have lost much less had, say, an offsuit 9 fallen on the river. I know I would've been more likely to put him on a smaller set or aces up than a straight.
