Long story made short:

- Moneymaker in the WSOP and ESPN covering the shit out of it.
- Friends invite for a dealer's choice home game with a $5 buyin
- I google online poker and the first site that comes up is Pacific

That's how I started online and I crushed the .25/.50 and .50/1.00 games before I even had a clue how to play poker.

Players were so bad. However, lack of multitabling capability and repeated fuck ups during tournies and I quit that shit.
