Moderate me. Please.
This guy just has a bone to pick with me, and I could care less, but it's slightly annoying. I'm sure you could agree.
EDITED TO ADD:
Let me clear up the trouble with typing and (saying?) my screenname.
Aequitas is Latin for the American word, "justice." "Equitas" is also used in certain ecclesiatical sects, but it is not as popular as its counterpart. You may have seen the word "aequitas" in the movie The Boondock Saints. Also in this movie was "veritas" which, as some of you know, means "truth." Why did I chose the name? I studied latin throughout college and 1 year in high school. Right now, I'm in the process of finishing law school, thus "justice." Besides, latin words are kickass.
Pronouncing "aequitas" is easy. Phonetically, I would suggest one of two ways of pronuncuation:
(1) A'-qwee-tas, or
(2) EK'-wee-tas
Whichever you choose is based on personal preference. [10 points if you reply here with a message containing "a-qweer-tas"].
So that's it.
Oh - why the 58? I dunno, it's a cool number.
