Default Vegas rooms

Good thread. Here's my take

Mandalay Bay:
Higher limits than the other rooms (min is 4/8 with a half kill) but a beautiful, large room with skilled dealers, hot waitresses, and a classy atmosphere. Tournaments have a good structure. Less dead money than at …

Luxor
Smaller, more crowded room. At slower times, tables will have prop players. Daily Freeze out tourneys are a joke, with blind escalating at ridiculous rates. 10 hours of live play qualifies for a decent size freeroll. 2/4 game is beatable, but less dead money than at …

The Excalibur
My regular room in Vegas. I should challenge myself more and try to raise my earn rate, but the 2/6 game is almost a sure thing. Bad beats/high hands entitle you to spin a wheel for a small jackpot. Sometimes populated by local rocks, at which point it’s time to move on.

Orleans
Enormous room. Off strip location means many more locals, some better than others. Large game selection. I play the larger field weekend night tourneys, which attract some very good players.
