Tournament Statistics
Since I play mostly NL tournaments and SNGs I just want to see how well I am doing compared to everyone else, so I have a few questions.
1. How often do you make it to the money?
2. How often do you make it to final table?
3. How often do you win?
I've only made it to a final table once for a MTT freeroll at UB and once in a 45 seat SNG (I actually won this one too). As for making it to the money, I'd say I'm about 50/50 right now and when I do, it's just barely. I find that I'm always going into the money short stacked and in all-in or fold mode so I'm quickly eliminated.
As well, if you consider yourself a successfull tournament player I wouldn't mind some tips. One I've found from an old post from Tilter was about being a fox versus a farmer. I think this tip actually allowed me to win that SNG and place 11th in the 2+.20 and I hope to use the philosophy in future tournaments.
