Default Absolute tourney 1 left till final table

Last night I played a $25 freeroll at Absolute Poker. It got down to 10 players and top nine made final table, but ONLY 5 places paid out. They proceded to play one hand at the first table then that table had to wait for a hand to be played out at the other table....etc....etc.

As it turns out, this went on for 30-45 mins due to everyone playing really tight and short stacks getting lucky doubleing up. Anyone know if this is that same in ALL tourneys there? Why would they do this when it isn't on the bubble to the money? At the very least they should let both tables play a hand simultaniously and then as soon as both are done, then next starts.

It was PAINFULLY SLOW.
