There is a huge, huge, HUGE difference. If you are going to play the same, don't play in a rebuy tourney. You're at a huge disadvantage. I'm not going to re-explain rebuy strategy (it's been discussed in dozens of different threads), but take my word for it, it's a different strategy. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find some good stuff.

As for bdawg's question, for a tourney where only 1 rebuy and 1 add on are allowed, I think it would depend on the rest of the table.

If no one takes the rebuy right away, I see no reason for you to take it either. But if everyone takes it, I think it would be a good idea... you'd hate to "double up" and only win half as many chips as you should have.
