I agree TP - starting in Flight B or C would definitely be best. If I had the choice (and I'm hoping that I do get that choice), I would be ranking them C-B-A-D. The only real benefit to playing in Flight A is that you would have 3 days off to get in some side games. Of course, your hotel isn't covered in your package is it? Were you planning/is it necessary for you to be there from 1A even if you don't play until 1D? By the sounds of it, you were planning on being there since you mention seeing how a couple flights go first.
