In other news, I went downstairs tonight to register for tomorrow's $1000 tourney. I don't think I'm going to play in Sundays $750, but I am gong to play tomorrow... why not. Maybe I won't play as badly as I played (the river of the KK hand and the turn of the 54 hand) today.
I honestly feel like I played really well the rest of the day.... Two mistakes in 7 hours isn't that bad... unfortunately, they ended up being significant ones.
Anyway, on my way to register, I heard some dude shouting something from one of the craps tables. It was Steve Danneman, so I went over to say hello. I was wearing my "Future Millionaire" tshirt (it's a joke, even though it's true), and he really liked it. I think I got at least a half a dozen comments on it while wandering around tonight. Anyway, I watched the shooter pay off Steve for a few rolls and then snuck out of there when he rolled a 7. Cool guy.
I also decided to play online a bit tonight. I was up $1200+ at the "end" of my session, but lost a couple of sizeable pots in my last orbit and finished up $700something. Eh... I'll take it. I'm no JD/Boobie, you know. Oh, I also missed an open ended straight (royal) fluh draw on a nearly $1300 pot... that would have been a nice hit. Anyway, the point is, I'm looking forward to hitting the online cash games pretty hard when I get home next week.
