This seems like a stupid thing, but I was almost positive that all the online sites used to do something different (but I may just have been thinking of limit HE) and it came up as a discrepancy between two live games I have played in.
Question:
1) To confirm: in NLHE, the minimum bet on the turn/river are the same as PF and on the flop? So, if it is 5/10 the minimum opening bet is always 10 for each street.
2) I checked on FT/PS in cash and tournaments and it does play according to #1 above.
3) Has it ever been different online? Meaning that the turn and river double the minimum (as in limit). I was almost positive that was how I learned the game online.
4) Is this a common rule change in home games/casinos/cardrooms? I see lots of confusion searching and seeing the question asked on other forums.
Thanks, and please excuse the basic question...
I want to have as much info as possible before I go to the game Tuesday night and "clear up" the discrepancy (argument) that came up at the game two weeks ago.
