We've had dozens of threads about bankroll management (feel free to search for more info), but I consider "taking a shot" to be risky when you sit in a game where the buy in is 10% of your roll. I think sitting with more than that is bankroll suicide.

Please note that "hero" in this thread sat in a game where the buy in was 400% of his roll.

Talk about a recipe for disaster.

The harshness in this thread is so others will learn from akajeff's mistake, since he's obviously still not getting it and is far more concerned with how he played his fucking JJ than the fact that he might as well have transferred his entire bankroll to his opponent and saved himself the time of going through the motions.
