Playing HU LHE you really need to 3-bet more preflop. When he raises and you just call, you're letting him keep you on the defensive. It's limit HU. Calling the 1st raise isn't much different than limping at a full table. Fold occasionally preflop, too. You have to change up what you're doing to draw info out of your opponent. Don't play every hand the same HU. Sure, you don't give any info that way, but you don't get any either. Just remember, randomize when you 3-bet or open-limp r limp reraise. Keep him guessing.
Bottom line is you lost 11.25 big bets. Big deal.
