It's a locals game. I'd say for the most part 6 out of my 9 competitors were people I've played with before. I got up to $650 before I colored up. When the dealer called for a "rack of red" they thought he misspoke and brought a rack of blue ($1 chips). When I cashed out I had 7 stacks of red and $190 in blue chips in front of me. Bought in for $100 (yes, relatively small buy in for the blinds but no one ever buys in for more than that and if you do you get the stink eye from the locals).

I was having a good time. I was very drunk. I obviously wasn't being an asshole about it or anything...tried to be humble. Most of them had enough and broke the game around 10:30. It usually goes well past midnight.
