Yeah, it's pretty sucky. I think it will go to the U.S. Supreme Court and probably be upheld there too, TBH.

My interpretation of this ruling was that while the Judge may even agree that the law is ridiculous (there was some language in his ruling that suggested this), it isn't unconstitutional and therefore there is nothing he can do about it. The best process would be to get a new law on the books to overturn this stupid one. Time to get some new blood in office.
