most likely you have adware on your computer that is doing some combination of hijacking your search functions and shooting you pop-ups of sites its creators have designated (or worse, but it is best to think positively ). That 180solutions thing IS adware, i believe.

Program called Ad-aware SE will search out most of it. The personal version is free. Here's a link you their site. I would suggest that everyone have some adware/spyware software that they run frequently. Adware/spyware can be just as annoying/dangerous to your computer and your personal information as a virus.



Also note:
If you do have adware on your computer it may have been implanted through a virus which will reinstall the adware after it is removed. So, also make sure to update and run your virus software in the process. Both the antivirus and antispyware programs have options to give you more detailed info about the particular files they find and what other steps you should taketo get rid of them once and for all.

All of this is unfortunatly was learned from recent experiences with a variety of adware/viruses/spyware
