Just a couple of comments on all the bankroll talk.

Bankroll requirements are only relevant if when the current bankroll is gone, you are through either forever, or for an extended time period until you can save enough $$$ to create a new bankroll.

In addition, bankroll requirements are only relevant for players with proven winning records, as there is theoretically no bankroll large enough to sustain a losing player.

Finally, bankroll requirements presuppose a given stakes level which remains static. Moshman would say that if I am going to play $50 + 5 SNGs, I would need a bankroll of $5,500 to lower my risk of going broke to less than 5%. However, as was demonstrated by my staking arrangement, using something akin to a modified Kelly for choosing stakes levels and adjusting accordingly based on bankroll size, the given bankroll does not have to be anywhere near 100 buy-ins as long as the player adjusts buy-in amount according to a rational schedule.
