OK, I've educated many Americans on what "Freedom of Speech" means, I might as well educate you.
"Freedom of Speech" as guaranteed in the 1st Amendment is a constraint upon the actions of GOVERNMENT, not on the actions of individuals or private enterprise. It means that the government cannot make speaking your mind illegal.
It does not mean 1) you can say anything you want and not be criticized, 2) that your employer cannot fire your for saying things they don't deem appropriate for the workplace/industry, or 3) owners of private enterprise (e.g., TP on this board) cannot ban someone for saying something he does not like.
All of the above are fine in the US and have nothing at all to do with "Freedom of Speech"
