Default Casino Bonus FAQ

I cut and pasted this from another site and put it in my notes. I forgot which site it was so cannot attribute it - sorry. It's not my work but it's a good summary of FAQ's.

Casino Bonus FAQ
Q: WHAT TYPE OF BONUSES CAN YOU GET?
A:
Sticky Bonus
The casino will give you a bonus that is for playing purposes only. It cannot be withdrawn from the casino.
Example: You deposit $100 and receive a sticky bonus of $100. You play out $100 and try to cash-out, but you can not. Why? The bonus is removed from your cash-out ($100 bonus - $100 cash-out = 0) On the other hand, this bonus allows you a larger range to win with. Just keep in mind that you have to win over the bonus amount to cash out.
100% Match Bonus
The casino will give you a bonus that is the same as the amount you deposited. There is a minimum and maximum amount you can deposit in order to receive this bonus.
Percentage Bonus
This one is fairly straight forward, if the casino offers a 20% bonus and you deposit $100 you will get a $20 bonus. You receive whatever percentage they offer for the amount you deposit. Again, typically limits apply.
No-Deposit Bonus
Sometimes casinos do give bonuses without a deposit. However, these come with the strictest of rules and regulations which must be abided by or you can forget about receiving any winnings.
Deposit Bonus
This is a special bonus for depositing via preferred method. Most casinos will give you an extra bonus for depositing via NETeller, PrePaid ATM or FirePay. Keep this in mind while figuring out your wagering requirements.
Frequent Player Bonuses
This is for regular members of the site and the size of the bonus is often in relation to how often you play and deposit. Sites will occasionally give special no strings attached bonuses to regular players in appreciation for their patronage. Most sites also give special bonuses to regular players during holidays.
Win if you Lose Bonus
This one is tricky for bonus hunters and is great for the casinos. You can deposit any amount over a specified amount of time (let's say a weekend) and you will receive a percentage of the amount you lost for a bonus.
Example: You deposit $500 over the weekend and lost $200. You have $300 left in your account (typically you can not cash out before receiving the bonus) and you request the bonus on your $200 lost. If the bonus is 30% you will receive $60 which you may be able to cash out immediately (depending on the terms and conditions).

Q:WHAT ARE BONUS TERMS & CONDITIONS?
A:
Wagering Requirements
This is the amount you need to wager in order to cash out your winnings and/or bonus. The wagering must be in games that the casino deems expectable. (see excluded games, below)
Example: If you deposit $100 and your bonus was $100 you then have $200 to play with. Say the casino has a wagering requirement of 10X the bonus + the deposit. That means you have to wager 10X ($100 bonus + $100 deposit) or $2000. If you deposited via NETeller and you get an additional bonus of $10 then your wagering requirement may be $2100 or it may be $3100, depending on how the site figured their wagering requirements. If you have a question on this it's best to check with the customer service department of the site to know for sure.
Now, if you win $100 on your first game and want to cash out – find out if you will lose your deposit or just your bonus by writing to their customer service department. Often you will only lose your bonus but you can keep your winnings, making that cash out worth it!
Excluded Games
Roulette and Baccarat are almost always excluded from all wagering requirements. In other words, playing roulette or Baccarat will not go towards the $2000 mentioned above. This does not mean that you cannot play and win in Roulette or Baccarat, it just means that whatever bonus you received will likely be deducted from your winnings upon cash-out (check with the casino you play with for further details).
Check the terms and conditions for the site as well as the bonus rules and regulations for any additional games excluded from the bonus programs.
Carry Over
Carry over means that even if you lose all of your deposit and bonus you STILL have to fulfill your wagering requirements on the last deposit and bonus before you can cash-out the next deposit and bonus.
Example: You deposited $100 in September and received a $100 Bonus. The wagering requirements were $2000, only you decided to play commando style and lost it all after only wagering $1000. The same casino offers you another bonus in October and you deposit another $100 and receive another $100 bonus, how much is your wagering requirement? $3000. Why? You still have $1000 wagering requirement due from the original deposit in September that you have not fulfilled.
