07 WSOP Scotty Nyguen's Table Talk

In the hand with the British "Professor" and John Cernuto (sp) where after John bets, and the professor is making a decision (and looks like he is going to soon fold) Scotty says "9 high is gunna take down this pot"

If the Prof had called I would have had SERIOUS words for Scotty and immediately called a floor. I mean what the fuck kind of shit is that? You cant say things like that if you're not in the hand, and as long as he's been around the game he should know better.

If a director had been called over I wonder what the consequences would have been? I know I would have been FURIOUS

Here is the problem with throwing a hissy fit if the professor called-the rules need to be consistently applied to all players in every case. So the players involved (in this case the John guy) should have called the floor over and raised hell either way the hand played out. Things get screwy when you are only going to complain if the table talk affected the decision-making of the players involved.
