Can't hurt them since they gave up nothing. Won't put them over the top. Shaq cant guard Howard or defend the pick n roll. They still need one more piece.

Seems like a giant waste of a trade.
Too bad LeBron was 13 when Shaq was good.

Magic respond by trading Alston for Carter.
What is with trading for all-stars from years past?

Contracts. And your stupid to think shaq still isn't effective. Just because he isn't the Shaq of old doesn't mean he isn't in the top 10 centers in the league. He actually played well with Phoenix this year, Phoenix just isn't build for Shaq. However, half court with LeBron? I think the Cavs could get past the Magic easy now if they kept the whole team. If they lose Turkoglu, there is not point in even talking about the magic.
Yo Dawg, what happened to your business idea?

I'm with Wes on this. All you have to do with Howard is muscle him. That's why Howard himself called his toughest matchup Kendrick Perkins. Shaq is strong enough to to take Howard off his game by shoving and hacking a la Perk.

Hmmm, Kendrick at 280 lbs with less mobility than Shaq at 325. Thanks Kurn for adding legitimacy to Shaq making the cavs better.
