Account deactivated?

Does anyone know why I'm suddenly unable to post as MathBabe? I tried to Friday night to comment on TP's updates, and wasn't able to - hence my post as PokerGoof.

I can't think of anything I've done to piss anybody off!

What exactly is happening with the original MB account? Can you log in? What messages are getting?

Define "wasn't able to." Were you logged in? Did you click on the "Reply" button? What did it say?

Well, "deactivated" is probably too strong a word, because I can log in. But I can't post. When I look at the forum index page, though, I see the box below at the bottom, telling me I can't post.

I first noticed this Friday night when I logged in on the Blackberry.

Oh, and when I hit "New Thread" or "Post Reply", I get a page that says:

MathBabe, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Sounds awfuly suspicious? Did you change your email address and not confirm the new one (by clicking on the link emailed to you)?

I'll bet that's it.
