Great news for WSOP this year. Stack sizes will be doubled. So for those of us playing the early events that's great news because 1500 chips isnt much for a $1500 buyin. Thought you guys might like to know if you didnt already.

Especially for $1500 (and $1K) events, I think this is a huge bonus. As for the main event Im not really sure if it's not going to just prolong it a little more. With 10k and 25/50 blinds (and long blind levels) there is plenty of room

I agree with Zy that this is good for the smaller events but the main event has anough room. What about the $50k horse? Do they still have that, I haven't checked that out and don't they start with 50k in chips which means they would start with 100k now?
