Default Bonus Hunting

How profitable do you think it is to take advantage of the maximum amount of bonuses? As in cash in enough to a site to get the maximum bonus, play enough to clear it and move on to the next site?

Which leads me to my second question...how do you find out about reload bonuses?

Would say that depends on the site/offer. In general there is a TON of money being thrown to players who are willing to deposit money to a site and play a certain number of raked hands, etc to unlock the bonus. Key here is to read the fine print at the site or send the cashier at the site a specific email asking any questions you have before you deposit. (I say cashier only because they usually have the most up to date info and at some sites the cust. service people will say whatever they think you want to hear so you will deposit).

If you are comfortable playing middle limits you should have no problem unlocking any bonus out there IMO. How long it will take is what the major differences tend to be.

Since they are trying to get you to put more money in the site, you should see an email about any reload offers, but sometimes they are only advertised on the site, or on forums.

I have built my initial bankroll of $100 to over $1100 by getting deposit bonuses at Pacific, Paradise, Party, InterPoker and I am now working on Poker Room. The key is to be patient to clear the bonuses. Once I clear Poker Room, I will move onto UltimateBet or some other site.

I think this is a VERY profitable way of building one's bankroll. If you work your way down the list of sites here, you will be able to earn $1930 in bonus money:

That is a LOT of free cash up for grabs.

As for the reload bonuses, they are often emailed to you once you establish accounts at the various sites. offers $90 per month, for example, and , , , , , and regularly offer 10-20% reload bonuses, just to name a few.

I play at most of those sites regularly anyway, so I ih as well take advantage of the free money by chasing the bonuses around, right?

In summary: Bonus whoring is a great way to build your bankroll.

Not sure if this ever happened to anyone, but my account at Party went inactive for 2 months and they gave me a $20 free deposit, with the catch being I had to play 125 hands in 5 days. Did it in one night, and made a cool $50 on top of the $20. My account has once again been inactive for about 2 months, hopefully I get another $20.

Got a question for you there Geoff.
Was there any money in your account?
I got busted out about a year ago on Party save for something like $3.82
Roughly 8 months went by without a re-load bonus or $20 in my account.
I guess what I am trying to say is I had heard about that sort of thing going on and am damn pissed off that I wasn't able to receive either offer.

Boo Party Poker !!

Oh, wait... They make me money.... ok, Yay Party Poker
