Default Frangos folding pocket Queens...

Anyone watching the new circuit event?

Frangos makes a great laydown with the pocket Queens with Lindgren having pocket Kings and Goldstein having pocket jacks. Not saying this is a impossible fold, Ive folded pocket Queens preflop a few times before but he did it so quickly.

Also his chat before he looked at his cards said alot too... he said 'cmon one time' which means he is folding anything but pocket aces IMO. Frangos saw the Queens then folded them so quickly.

very nice read/laydown.

If i'm not mistaken there was a raise by the internet 22 year old, then another guy reraised him, and another reraised again. If I were playing this I would say it was time to dip too.

The winner said it himself, he was very lucky, and he was. He made some bad/aggressive calls. Chris got knocked out by him when he called with A9, the guy was just lucky. I feel bad for chris lately he seems to not be getting the luck he needs as of late including last year. How about that internet guy, he made a bad move and I noticed he like playing aces with the weak kickers...said to see us interneters represented poorly.

well the 'internet' guy is GambleAB... one of the most respected players online, so its not like he is just one of the randoms that qualifies for the ME via a sat or something.

if you do a search for him on FTP or PS you will find him in the bigger buyin tourneys all the time doing well.

Cool, I guess my vision was just skewed because of tv. THats one reason it bothers me to watch select hands from a tourney.

yeah he is a aggressive online player and when you watch it on TV your going to see him making moves that would make him look somewhat bad.

Like you see Gus go allin with a A5 your not going to say 'hes a online player whose lucky' your going to say 'its Gus'.

What is with that game- alot of young people at the WSOP played Magic The Gathering.
I've heard of it but never seen anyone playing it or anything like that.

That was a nice fold. I would have dumped the Queens in that spot too (considering all the stacks and especialy the action in front of him), but I would have thought about it a lot longer than he did (what, 2 seconds?). Nice play.

used to play magic the gathering online with him, he actully recognized my name since I used stormswa on there also. He was on full tilt and in red and I was like who is this guy? he was like you used to play MTGO and was like long time ago and we started chatting. Really nice guy, very down to earth.
