Heinrich is just plain sick. Might I ask though what they are doing with 3 point guards in Heinrich, Duhon and Gordon? Do they play 2 point guards on the court at once? Makes you wonder also how good they might be if Jay Williams never had that nasty motorcycle accident that ended his career.

No "e." Hinrich.

I'm out of the Chicagoland area, but the game's I've caught and the boxscores show Hinrich and Duhon as the starters.

Hinrich and Duhon both played Point and Shooting Guard in College and they kind of interchange those roles throughout the game. Hinrich is a big perimeter threat and they like to run him off some screens on the baseline to get looks occasionally.

Gordon is really a "2" imo. But he too, can play both positions. If you can't guard him off the dribble, he senses it. When he has those mismatches, he does major damage. He's clutch and usually gets the nod over Duhon down the stretch. That wasn't the case against Detroit though. Chris played.

I loved Williams at Duke and was happy when he becamse a Bull. We definitely wouldn't have had Hinrich though, and this kid is the next Stockton.

Give me him on the point for the next 17 years and I'm in heaven.

A) I'm an old point guard myself
B) I'm a basketball coach and I am always in love with my point guards! You need them!

He'll be the next Stockton after Nash hangs them up, he is unbelievable too.

Gordon was a good point guard in college, but I always found him to be a bit of a ball hog. When you have Okafur down low there was no need for him to hold on to the ball so much.

And what do you think of this Denham Brown? He droppped 111 points in a game here in Toronto a few years ago, but I haven't heard much about him this year. He was suppose to be going NBA, but does he really have the talent? He plays for UCONN in case you have no idea who I'm talking about, he is a junior.

the bulls 3 young gun guards are all really combo guards, besides duhon. duhon is really a pure point guard (floor leader, unselfish, etc) and hinrich/gordon are very versatile guards. they both were great scorers in college. hinrich isn't really a john stockton type player, though. stockton wasn't as great of a scorer as hinrich, but he was a much better passer. however, hinrich will be a stud in this league for years to come.

the only 'baby bull' i worry about is curry. i have a feeling that when the bulls sling him a big contract this off-season, that he will revert back to his out-of-shape ways. that will be a huge blow to the bulls, as he is a huge part of their success right now. guards are great, but the guys down low are what the NBA is all about.

I'm on the positivity train about Curry. He's motiviated and playing great. Antonio just got back and puts his share in. Chandler is good going on great as a defensive player. WINGS!

Our frontcourt dominated the Piston frontcourt the other night by the way. That's a tough group up there in Detroit.
