Default My absolute biggest pet peeve in poker

This just rubs me the wrong way, and believe me I understand the situation completely. You are short stacked to the point that your only options in a hand are all-in or fold but you are short enough that the BB is gonna call no matter what he has, I get it, I have been in the situation where I was the BB and called with 2-4 becaue it was only a couple more chips and folding doesn't make sense at all. What chaps my ass is when you put your chips in with AK and the make the obligitory call (which you want actually) with their 2-4 and catch a 4 to put you out of the game they say "Sorry". FUCK YOU, YOU ARE NOT SORRY! I am not sorry when I bust someone, thats why you play the game! You called with shit cards hoping to catch and you did, if you were calling hoping to miss then your a moron, DON'T APOLAGIZE WHEN YOU CATCH, just say good game or better yet say nothing at all.

Damn, I hate to prove Junyun right, but I am angry lately, but thats part of the package when I'm around.

Doesn't bother me. Some people out there aren't assholes ... and they realize when their 24 beats your K9, they just hit a live card, but otherwise - they shouldn't have won the hand.

What peeves me more:
When someone beats you in a hand (either cash or tourney) and they can't win in style.

Not to be a nit, but 42o *should* beat K9o a little less than 1/3 of the time.

42o vs K9o is live cards vs live cards so its like 65%-35%... people make it sound like 42o vs K9o is like 99%-1%.

I never said it was a horrendous beat or anything, but it's not like 42o is a hand you usually play, the only reason to play it in that spot is to try to bust someone out cheaply and when you do it you are not sorry so don't say you are, thats my point.

We all understand that AKo is only a 66/33 favorite over 27o, it's just that you don't play 27o in that spot hoping to lose and double the guy up.

I understand that calling in that spot with rags is acceptable if it's just a few more chips, but sometimes I woinder how smart it really is to double someone up in any event.

It's just math.

If you are getting 20:1 pot odds, for example, it's pretty easy to make this call, knowing you are probably only a 2:1 dog. It would actually be stupid to NOT call and to give the guy those pot uncontested........ which I have seen people do, btw.
