| I'm getting a vasectamony Tues. (poker related)

I don't really like the circumstances surrounding this, but I'm actually going to have a chance to play in a big tourney for once. I usually have to play poker online late at night, which makes it impossible to play the big multi table tourneys unless I want to stay up all night. I'm hoping I can find a good MEDIUM sized tourney during the day Tues. The huge ones (1000+) are to big for me as I think it diminshes the skill involved.

No personal experience here, but I might think you should play in the tourney BEFORE the doctors. Sitting still in a seat for hours after might not be too pleasant. Good Luck & congrats on being such a dedicated poker player |

The brochure they gave me at the pre-exam says you can walk out afterward. They tell you to bring a CLEAN athletic supporter. I'm glad they specified because I was going to bring one that I just played basketball in for four hours. According to the literature, the whole process only takes 15-30 minutes without keeping you after at all. They said IF it is sore (don't know how it could not be) to sit on a bag of frozen veggies. I figure those peas that have been in the freezer since Reagan was president will do just fine in the computer chair. We'll see I guess.

Glad to see you have a sense of humor about the whole thing! LMAO at that Reagan joke. Been thinking about getting it done too, but I may be doing it "naturally." (see my post in the general discussion under Marijuana and Poker.) |

This is almost too coincidental. The big V is what got me started in online poker. I had mine in June of '03 and basically spent the entire weekend in front of Party Poker. I had been playing for play money earlier, but used the forced "down" time to play with real money. Recommendation: Get a bag of frozen vegetables like peas or corn. Keep 'em in your pants while you play and don't get up too quickly!!! g/l |

Pacific Poker has good tournaments at around 3:00 Est time. $6,000 - $7500 prize pool usually and around 200 people in. $15 + $1 entry fee. Be careful though, some decent players on Pacific. YOU GOTTA HAVE BALLS TO PLAY THERE! sorry, just had to. |

| Yeah, it was for the joke effect. Although there are "some" good players because I'm one and I've seen three others in 10 months! |
