i've played him a fair bit at 5/10, with some success, but it's definitely silly for me to be playing him HU at 25/50

I'm willing to admit that my take on this hand may be because I'm not a good enough player to undertstand everything going on here, but when I look at this, I just can't think that playing like this is +EV in the long run. Maybe you had a read on your opponent or maybe you made this same play 20 times today and this is the only time it worked out, but I really don't like it.

If you want to explain your logic here, step by step, I'd love to read it. Or... if you were just throwing your stack around and happend to get lucky here, that's fine too.

The last orbit, this guy opened on the button and I 3-bet with KK. I bet the flop and he folded.

This orbit it's the exact same thing. I figure he's probably pissed off about getting 3bet again. I also figure that since he's tried to steal my BB twice in a row, he's got a massive range. He didn't 4-bet me which he'd almost certainly do with JJ+.

Based on his flop push, he probably doesn't have a set (usually they'd smooth call). If he doesn't have a set or an overpair, what could he have? Middle pairs, JT/KT/A8, a flush draw, a straight draw or air.

I thought that he had a draw or air enough of the time to call. Mostly because I thought I'd really pissed him off and he wanted to bluff me.
