Yes... The reason for this is so people can't go back and change/delete old posts and mess up the flow of the forum.

Thread titles can be edited for 5 minutes. Posts can be edited for 12 hours.

That should be MORE THAN ENOUGH time to get one's thoughts straight, remove typos, etc. I was actually thinking of reducing that number quite a bit.
