Maybe a penalty, or a formal warning is wrong, and I understand that this is TV, therefore there's going to be a little more leeway than in a normal tournament, but after Phil asks for quiet, the only thing he says is "so, its 4,000 more?" Then Seed, who is not in the hand (and it hasn't been long enough to ask for the clock yet) makes his comment.

In a normal situation, the dealer should speak up at this point. I think that was what I meant to be my point. After that. Phil turns into the whiny little baby he usually becomes and the whole thing gets out of control. I agree that if Phil has the ability to ignore Seed's comment, maybe the situatrion just fades away.

Yes, Phil's an idiot, but he's in the hand and can talk all he wants. Seed isn't, and should keep his mouth shut. If I'm the onew who reraised with KK, I'm not 100% in love with the tone of what's going on, but I don't want to say anything that might give away the fact that I have a strong hand.

Good TV? Sure. But not a good lesson for new poker players.
