This one is not so bad from the perspective of outs, but it hurt.

I am on a 1/2 PLO8 table and I have $150 in front of me. I have AK2x s00ted. The flop is a draw to a straight, so I call a small bet. The pot is getting large. So the turn gives me the NUT NUT straight. No low. Nothing. Sweet. There is however a 2-floosh on board. Soooo how do you protect you hand against a 2-flooosh with one card to go? POT IT! He had bet out with a Q9 straight and I re-raised him ALL IN. One hundred and fifty on the table.. of course he rivers his, get this, Q high flush. Real powerful hand in Omaha there pal. He also had 4 spades in his hand. So he KNEW he had very few outs. He was not even drawing to a NUT flush. Sooooo good and yet sooooooooooooo infuriating. This is why PL08 can be a cash cow. On a better note he lost everything I gave him, bought in twice more, lost that, and then dissapeared. I hope to see him again.
