Default Hold on a Second...

I have a knack for being able to defend a persons' play both ways. So you have AKs, standard raise, 77 will call this raise all day. Flop comes K52 You bet out alright, not too crazy here. With $8 in the pot, you bet out $4. His minimum reraise was a test. If he puts you on a hand like AQ or AJ, you'll most likely fold. This will even test you if he puts you on a lower PP such as QQ JJ or TT. I know his 7's dont beat that, but hes most likely thinking he can bet you out of the hand with the K on board. Your re-raise to $22 was a good one, and this is the time where your Opp. should have realized you weren't trying to buy the pot. He's get $12 in the pot, with another $14 to him. Apparently he must've thought his 7's were good against a hand that he put you on (AQ, AJ, AT). The 5 on the Turn was a good card for the 7's to see. He knows you dont have the 5. Your overbet on the turn basically seals it for him in his mind. If he thought his 7's were still good on the flop, the 5 wasnt going to scare him, and he was moving in no matter what. Thats why he was in the hand. He didnt push his chips in hoping for the 2 outer, he was most likely pushing in his chips trying to dodge a 6-outer.
