I wonder why they even bother to "guarantee" money for these things. I mean, $100k guaranteed for a $5000 event? Were they really expecting less than 20 players???
With 175 players registered, the prize pool is $875,000. If they had guaranteed $1 million, I'll bet there still wouldn't have been an overlay, and even if there was, SO WHAT? They can afford it. Glancing through the field now - that is one sick list. That hs to be the highest % of pros I've ever seen in an online tourney. |
