Its nothing against you at all. It's just this forum has seen its share of people who show up for a freeroll and then vanish. If you actually stick around you'll find out were actually a pretty cool group. Welcome to the forum.

currently this is the only poker forum i belong to. ill take MAYHEMs word that this is a cool place and I'd be excited to play any private tourneys in the future, even if it means sitting this one out and showing i can stick around here.

But wouldn't it be sweet if you could get your hands on the password for THIS tourney and still stick around???

If there was only a way. I'm trying to get it myself.

no offense but it appears you're already registered. clearly the people on here who have 1000+ posts all know eachother enough to trustingly give the password to eachother. if the people on this board dont want to give me a password then i understand, and i hope you all enjoy the tournament. i just hope i can prove that im worthy for future ones.

Nice job setting this up, bunny. Count me in for sure.

Hopefully Chris will play a little differently than the last time I played with him (live in the Bahamas, 2006, all in every hand until he busted).

Just curious, but who are the other people playing (quite a few SNs I don't recognize)? Friends? Peeps from another forum? All of the above?

GL to everyone. See you at the final table.

Reason for this tourney was to celebrate, my being able to set up my very own pvt tournaments. That being said....

I posted the good news here (First!). Soon as I received confirmation from MoneyMaker, didn't even have tourney set up yet (& was still, at the time, 40 FPP short).

Majority, are friends of mine. (wouldn't be the same, without them in it)

*Bemoney* is Chris's sister. Had the pleasure of meeting her and their dad other night.

A couple (such as the 2 newcombers in this thread) were probably watching chat when I typed in your Forum url (informing who ever was watching, they would be able to receive more details here) I take full responsibility, if I messed up by giving out TPF address.

In all honesty, I am a member in many other forums, besides this one. Out of the many, I chose 2 forums, (this being 1st choice). Reason being; I didn't want too many entrants (freeroll type)that's why I did not multi-forum post it nor too few (for that matter), but enough to make it an enjoyable event. (one other reason I chose $11 buy-in rather than $5)

Welcome back, glad you made it in time.

I'm glad I got back in time too - thanks for doing it tonight and not over the weekend.

And by all means, post links to TP whenever you want. That's definitely a GOOD thing, and not a bad thing. If you wanted a bigger turnout (and I know you don't for this one - and I wouldn't have either), you could have mentioned "the Talking Poker Forum" in the description of your tourney too. You can't put actual web addresses in there, but can spell out the name of the site, for future reference.

Oh, and you should be able to cancel that other tourney if you want to...
