Only notes I take are basic leaks that people might have.
A basic example is something that says, "CRR OOP 56s UTG/BTN". basically all that means is he called a 3bet oop with 56s and that he raised UTG when I was on the button. or something like he checks back A9o on 84JA against me in position so it makes it a lot easier to call him down later when he 2barrels overcards since he doesn't value bet lightly to justify not calling down/bluff raising. |

I never took notes for years....at least not any that were worth anything. You really don't need to in 45-man turbo tourneys. The hands play themselves for the most part. You only really play two streets, and I can recognize a regular easily.
For cash games, the notes are usually based on how they pay off my value bets on the river. Eg. Will the call a pot size bet on the river with just TPTK? Two pair? And stuff like how do they play their big hands, big draws, etc. |
