Live poker rules.
Both player deserves a kick in the nuts. For a father to swear on his kids is just bad form, and invites terrible karma. Meanwhile the other guy should be calling this every time, especially if the dad-from-hell refuses to show one card.

I played live 1-3 at the casino the other night and raised to $35 preflop from MP and still got 7 callers wtf.
Live is fun occasionally but if I were to seriously play it it'd have to be for more $ than I play with online.

Thats kinda how I am although for you it'd be a problem since you are already playing so high. Online I generally play 1-2 - 5-10 (so $200 - $1000 buy in)
Live i'll play 2-5, 5-5 , 5-10 - 10-20 and 10-25 (although the last two less often) Im buying in anywhere from $500 (small 2-5 games) to $3500 (10-20 and 10-25 games), obviously much bigger. since you're used to $25/50+ online, it's rare to find a live game above 25/50 spread consistently... even at the borgata which has the biggest poker action in AC they spread 1-2 2-5 5-10 and 10-20 every day, then like 66% of the time they have 10-25 and 25-50 also.... and during events like the WPT etc they'll have a 50-100 (and i believe i once saw a 100-200)

Great story. LOL at player 1 having a breakdown.
Would only have been better if he didn't have kids. |
