That's good stuff. I chatted wih him for about 15 seconds after he busted her (and the room really did erupt - it was the loudest reaction I heard all day), and he told me about his friend Charlie. I wished him luck... Glad to see he cashed.

BTW.... if any of you people find me more pics (or video) of me and my girl Shannon, let me know. I was definitely in the background of her CardPlayer interview, but the last time I checked, it wasn't posted yet...

I left during the dinner break, planning on making it an early night...... but something is calling me back. I'm being drawn back. Can't... resist..... WSOP...

I was also invited to a private party at the Rio at 10:00 tonight by someone I met at the charity event last night. I think I just may have to attend

Today was great... no huge stories, but a few noteworthy comments:

-Notables who are out already: Jennifer Harmon (lost with a full house to a straight flush), Scotty Nguyen, Thomas Keller, Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, Martin DeKniff (sp)
-Chris Ferguson was all in preflop with AA vs. K9. The flop comes K94. Chris rivered a 4 to survive and has built up a nice stack since then.
-Scott Fischman was down to 1000 chips and has built WAY back up to over 20k. I watched him for a while, and he's playing well.
-Raymer is playing awesome. He has a lot of chips.
-Some guy is wearing a giant "Elmo" head. It's.... interesting. I saw another guy watching a movie on his DVD player, and Josh Arieh was playing tetris.
-Clonie Gowan winked at me. She's so sweet.
-Shannon Elizabeth is doing fairly well. She had over 20k chips the last time I checked. One of the CardPlayer guys who was at my table last night refers to her as "your girlfriend" when talking to me. Gotta love that. I chated with her real boyfriend for a while today (cool guy).
