And this is precisely why I like making the big overbet when I am sitting on the nuts. I am AMAZED at how many people think big bet = bluff and call me with the TPTK and even worse...

i always take copious notes on anyone ive ever played against and ive noticed that most of the fishies make the exact same predictable patterns over and over again... lol

e.g.:
- raise 4xBB with AT twice in 4 hands;
- limp in with hi pairs, bet pot on nondescript board few times in a half hr

etc etc

most ppl are very predictable and if only one is observant and concentrating on the table and not multi-ing or watching TV on the side and stuff, it could (almost always) be a good experience at the tables.

Right, and that's a very good point... I only make the call if I've had the chance to observe the player for a number of hands and have a good read on them. I have been burned by this a couple times but the positive gain is well ahead at this point.
