It's a great game. I like it alot. The players are bad. However sometimes they get lucky too like last night when someone catches a 1 out SF on the river to take most of a nice stack I had built up.

I can't stand it when people say...
"Give me a break" or When they put all their money in as an underdog, then hit the flop, and get ousted on the turn or river and start whining about "what a terrible bad beat" they had. There was this one person who, everytime he went all in (every other hand), if he was an underdog or the favorite always said "I don't accept bad beats dealer." This was PLAY money online.

I can't stand it when some donk that wasn't even in the hand starts giving you crap or laughing after you take a bad beat. Had some ass on Bodog pull that crap on me, which subjected him to a half hour of being verbally harassed by yours truly... I also enjoyed taking his money.

As simple as it is for a moron to say, "nice hand". People overuse the phrase nice hand. People compliment people for everytime they hit 3 of a kind or make a straight or flush. The worst use of "nh" is when someone calls a solid 4x blinds raise out of position with j4 or some other complete rags and hits the flop. People are truly clueless when you compliment someone for making a donkulicious call with crap when it was stupid. I can see possibly making some of these calls but not when you are out of position and there is a raise and re-raise in front of you.
Stop saying nice hand...leave it for the times when someone really does play a hand well, like when someone extracts as much as possible with a set or truly outplays their opponent with a good raise or re-raise. |
