Okay, you changed my mind--a bit. I understand a little better now how us new guys do deserve this. But, I think I will still do the bounty thing. If I do win any of this money, at the next tourney I'm in whoever takes me out, new poster or old poster will win the money. It's free money after all and I'm just going to lose it at poker either way. And hey, it's incentive for me to win the tourney! I won't have to give the money away then and I will feel like I earned it.

Just a thought, instead of $15 and $10 for new members, you could give two entries into the tournament on Tuesday, that way we could sort of keep the TP money together. Unless of course someone couldn't make it to the tournament.
Edit: I guess this is sort of what Nak1ta(sp?) just said above

I like that idea. Especially since first and foremost we are here to play poker, second is to make money. (But then no bounty from me!
 )

Didn't know there was a tourney on Tuesday.
 Love the idea btw; if I had a chance in winning it ( which I truly doubt will happen ) but if I did; I'd have put it either towards the league or saved it for another TP tourney.

Im glad the newbies are here, think you all are great, I wish Rook took advice a little better but other then that you all are great. Tp has given us enough in the past so I dont mind you guys getting money at all. Hell its his money he can do what he wants with it. TP has given alot in the past, pay to post, Titan free $50, 2x h2h tornies, bankroll building contests. The list goes on and on.

I rem seeing that post and actually posting to the thread. So yeah, I'll wait till Tues. night to see if I'm either able to make it or have enough funds to play in it. *With practice comes losing... & I've been practicing & losing a lot lately.

I am going to close this thread now. The official poll can be found here:
We'll stick with $15 and $10 prizes (payable vai only), but hopefully the winners will use those to play in a TP tourney sometime. I'm going to run this poll for 4 days, which takes us beyond Tuesday's tourney anyway. GL everyone. |
