Not sure I want to reply given the title, but you need software that takes screen capoture movies (similar to how print screen captures an image file).
I have never actually used one of these, but those two came up in a search.

Also, people are using the website, to temporarily host these things. I hope to have something up tonight for viewing.
I really want TP to look at it, since he's proven at the level I'm playing at. However, I think it will be fun for everyone to see. Hopefully, I can go into one of my crazy 45-minute long, 50bet downswings so you folks can see just how easy I can lose $500. ![]()

Either you've moved back down in limits, or you have no idea how to properly have a downswing
![]() I'm looking forward to seeing this. I onder how many "marginal" hands you will throw away that you would have normally played, knowing you'll have an audience. I also look forward to seeing you get pissed off and go crazy in the chat box ![]() IMO, when you edit it, you should leave EVERY HAND in there (at least show the dealt cards and you clicking on fold, plus the final board and the winner of the hand). That way, it will be fluent, easy to keep track of the button, the $ amounts will change as expected, etc... Plus, half of poker is knowing your opponents, and not just your own starting cards. Maybe I'll do this sometime too. Sounds cool |

LOL, nope, their is no 2.5/5.00 game that I'm aware of. Still god ole' 5/10.
Me good at math, huh? Changed the OP to state a "50BB downswing." The $1000 swings take at least 2 days for me to accomplish.

What I've seen from others is they'll show themselves clicking fold and edit the rest of the hand out. So, at least you know what they're folding preflop.
I may just go with a 3-table session unedited. Should be enough action to keep it interesting. Also, you'll see my stat overlays to get basic table reads. I have no doubt that I'll play more normal game while being taped. In fact, my marginal steal raises and blind defense is going to be one of the more interesting aspects. Hopefully be giving this a shot today.

Here's the information I received from someone outside this forum when I asked the same question:
How to record your own video Download CamStudio . It's shareware with a 2 week trial. Options -> Video Options. Compressor should be on Microsoft Video 1 and "Auto Adjust" should be clicked under Framerates. We will eventually compress the video with XViD, but it's better to do it after recording is finished. Region -> Fixed Region -> Mark a single table to record. Use the record and pause buttons as needed. When you are finished, press the stop button and save to an AVI. It should be pretty huge, maybe 500 megs for 20 minutes or so. Download VirtualDub , 32 bit edition. Run it and File -> Open video file -> choose your AVI. Video -> Fast recompress mode. Video -> Framerate -> Frame Rate Conversion -> Tick "Convert to fps" and enter "15" in the box. -> OK. Video -> Compression -> XViD MPEG-4 Codec -> OK. (If that option #isn't there, install XViD ) File -> Save as AVI -> Enter new file name -> OK. It will take a few minutes to produce your final video. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cool. Now clean up all those brackets around those links, so they aren't broken.
Can't wait to see how this turns out. |
